Narrative:
ZAU had given us direct moline approximately 40-60 mi from moline. Turned to a heading at 15-20 mi from moline, traffic called out 1000 ft above us -- flight of 3 KC135's. Only one was showing on TCASII. As we were looking for aircraft, could see lead aircraft at 3-4 mi due to TCASII. Center questioned our position being 8 mi east of moline. DME showed 6 mi and decreasing. We turned to moline and back on course. More attention to navigation and not watching for aircraft.
