Narrative:
For 5 yrs we have been getting an unsafe on lowering our landing gear. This on numerous occasions. We have done tower fly-by's and have had fire and emergency equipment on runways numerous times. The gear has been inspected at oma, fxe, mkt. Never could find a problem, except possibly the microswitch out of adjustment. Had the problem last week landing mkt. Departed mkt for fcm. On approach, I lowered the landing gear. The unsafe light and gear horn sounded. Flew over aircraft awaiting departure on 9R and asked if gears appeared down. Was told they were down. Landed, and as always happened until now, the green lights all came on upon T/D, and again no problem. Departed for mkc and lowered gears for landing at mkc. Got an unsafe light and horn, but decided that this was a malfunction in the warning system and proceeded with landing. On T/D the right main gear collapsed.
