Narrative:
Landing at ZZZ airport; the landing gear was extended and confirmed down. During rollout; the gear collapsed. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the cause of the left main gear failure is unknown as the airplane has not been put on jacks and the gear tested. The left wing was damaged when it struck a runway light as the airplane skidded along the runway. Engines need to be torn down and propellers must be replaced and the leading edge of the left wing needs a costly repair.
