Narrative:

Upon rollout, applied brakes evenly, but they quickly lost effectiveness and the aircraft went through the end lights of runway 25 into the overrun area by approximately 30 ft. Aircraft was then turned to south onto taxiway. Tower remarked that they thought aircraft looked as though it had gone past the end. Pilot affirmed this and acknowledged everything seemed ok. On shutting down the tips of 2 blades on left and 1 blade on right, appeared to have struck something. Confirmation of damage to 2 end runway lights was received by airport operations. It is possible that the throttles had not been fully closed after touchdown, making the rollout and subsequent braking less effective.

Title: A C340A ON LNDG ROLL RAN OFF THE END OF THE RWY INCURRING DAMAGE TO BOTH PROPS. POSSIBLY CAUSED BY THROTTLES NOT FULLY CLOSED AFTER LNDG.

Narrative: UPON ROLLOUT, APPLIED BRAKES EVENLY, BUT THEY QUICKLY LOST EFFECTIVENESS AND THE ACFT WENT THROUGH THE END LIGHTS OF RWY 25 INTO THE OVERRUN AREA BY APPROX 30 FT. ACFT WAS THEN TURNED TO S ONTO TXWY. TWR REMARKED THAT THEY THOUGHT ACFT LOOKED AS THOUGH IT HAD GONE PAST THE END. PLT AFFIRMED THIS AND ACKNOWLEDGED EVERYTHING SEEMED OK. ON SHUTTING DOWN THE TIPS OF 2 BLADES ON L AND 1 BLADE ON R, APPEARED TO HAVE STRUCK SOMETHING. CONFIRMATION OF DAMAGE TO 2 END RWY LIGHTS WAS RECEIVED BY ARPT OPS. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE THROTTLES HAD NOT BEEN FULLY CLOSED AFTER TOUCHDOWN, MAKING THE ROLLOUT AND SUBSEQUENT BRAKING LESS EFFECTIVE.
