Narrative:

Air carrier X other aircraft air carrier Y. While training a developmental controller on this position I let the student go too far on this confliction and the resulting vectors which I prescribed did not ensure separation. There were other close situations happening at the same time in the sector. Because the developmental is certified at several other sectors in the same stratum I gave every available second to letting the developmental effect separation. I had never worked with this developmental and that may be causal.

Title: ACR X HAD LTSS FROM ACR Y. SYS ERROR.

Narrative: ACR X OTHER ACFT ACR Y. WHILE TRAINING A DEVELOPMENTAL CTLR ON THIS POS I LET THE STUDENT GO TOO FAR ON THIS CONFLICTION AND THE RESULTING VECTORS WHICH I PRESCRIBED DID NOT ENSURE SEPARATION. THERE WERE OTHER CLOSE SITUATIONS HAPPENING AT THE SAME TIME IN THE SECTOR. BECAUSE THE DEVELOPMENTAL IS CERTIFIED AT SEVERAL OTHER SECTORS IN THE SAME STRATUM I GAVE EVERY AVAILABLE SECOND TO LETTING THE DEVELOPMENTAL EFFECT SEPARATION. I HAD NEVER WORKED WITH THIS DEVELOPMENTAL AND THAT MAY BE CAUSAL.
