Narrative:
While working flight mci-phx in 6/91. The cabin crew was involved in a chkride by FAA cabin safety specialist from air carrier inspection operations-sfo. My manual was noted as missing a bulletin. I did not question the matter at the time, as we were at the end of the flight when the discrepancy was brought to my attention and we were about to do an aircraft swap. Upon arriving home that evening, I found the bulletin in its proper place; however, it was not logged as prescribed. I received and read this bulletin during my second week of in-flight training. The error was not due to any negligence on the part of company mailing process or lack of conscientiousness on my part, but a mere clerical error on my part during a time when I was in a very intense learning process. I do understand that it is my responsibility to check my manual periodically against the office copy in csr resources to be sure that it is current and logged correctly. I only began flying in late 2/91. I am still learning and do not take this as a small matter. I understand the importance of keeping the manual current.
