Narrative:
Clearance issued by washington clearance to depart on 185 degree right of dca for radar vectors to gordonsville and then as filed. We were taxied to runway 36 and because there was no traffic we're immediately cleared for takeoff on runway 36. No other clearance was issued so we assumed runway heading since we were on an IFR flight plan. This heading would almost immediately place us in P56. We cheated to the left of runway heading when we realized this and contacted departure control. Departure told us to turn left to 310 degree and squawk XXXX. We complied with the turn and told him that we would switch to our back-up transponder. We were later climbed and turned over to washington center who told us to contact washington approach. When we got on the ground, the radar room chief said he needed our side of the story to explain what had happened to the 'secret service' who had complained that P56 had been penetrated. We don't know what happens now except that we were issued an erroneous clearance and should have queried them for a new but things happened fast and we didn't notice we had an erroneous clearance until we were airborne. We attempted to avoid P56 while maintaining runway heading. An impossible task.

Title: CPR LTT ON IFR FLT PLAN ENTERS P56 AFTER TKOF ON RWY 36.
Narrative: CLRNC ISSUED BY WASHINGTON CLRNC TO DEPART ON 185 DEG R OF DCA FOR RADAR VECTORS TO GORDONSVILLE AND THEN AS FILED. WE WERE TAXIED TO RWY 36 AND BECAUSE THERE WAS NO TFC WE'RE IMMEDIATELY CLRED FOR TKOF ON RWY 36. NO OTHER CLRNC WAS ISSUED SO WE ASSUMED RWY HDG SINCE WE WERE ON AN IFR FLT PLAN. THIS HDG WOULD ALMOST IMMEDIATELY PLACE US IN P56. WE CHEATED TO THE L OF RWY HDG WHEN WE REALIZED THIS AND CONTACTED DEP CTL. DEP TOLD US TO TURN L TO 310 DEG AND SQUAWK XXXX. WE COMPLIED WITH THE TURN AND TOLD HIM THAT WE WOULD SWITCH TO OUR BACK-UP XPONDER. WE WERE LATER CLBED AND TURNED OVER TO WASHINGTON CTR WHO TOLD US TO CONTACT WASHINGTON APCH. WHEN WE GOT ON THE GND, THE RADAR ROOM CHIEF SAID HE NEEDED OUR SIDE OF THE STORY TO EXPLAIN WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO THE 'SECRET SVC' WHO HAD COMPLAINED THAT P56 HAD BEEN PENETRATED. WE DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NOW EXCEPT THAT WE WERE ISSUED AN ERRONEOUS CLRNC AND SHOULD HAVE QUERIED THEM FOR A NEW BUT THINGS HAPPENED FAST AND WE DIDN'T NOTICE WE HAD AN ERRONEOUS CLRNC UNTIL WE WERE AIRBORNE. WE ATTEMPTED TO AVOID P56 WHILE MAINTAINING RWY HDG. AN IMPOSSIBLE TASK.
