Narrative:
Flight planned from stella maris, long island bahamas (myls) to treasure cay, (myat) abaco bahamas for a fuel stop, thence to walkers cay, abaco bahamas (myaw) and west palm beach, fl, (kpbi). According to iaim myat had fuel (AVGAS). Checked with nassau radio en route to confirm that AVGAS is available. Landed at myat and parked near fuel tanks and truck, found out that they haven't sold fuel for many months. Was told that fuel available at marsh harbour (myam), an airport 22 mi back in the direction that we had come. No phone at myat, so unable to confirm fuel availability, 1.6 hours of fuel left. If no fuel at myam, the only alternate is freeport (mygf), 87 NM away, there would be no reserves. Immediately after takeoff, I found out by radio that there is no fuel on myam sundays so I immediately turned towards mygf (freeport). Thunderstorm reported on field by other pilot. I had enough fuel to fly to freeport, and then direct to deep water cay, if I didn't have to deviate. I had to find out the radar observer en route. I called miami FSS on their remote frequency of 126.9. They were busy giving WX briefings and filing flight plans on other frequencys. They kept telling me to 'standby'. The situation was getting urgent, because any deviations would cut into the fuel I needed for my alternate. I called 'pan, pan, pan' on 126.9, miami FSS kept telling me to 'standby'. Finally, by insisting, I broke through to them. I needed to know if 'right-9001' was hot, so I could take a short cut. They were unable to tell me, said that I would have to call freeport FSS (I was unable). They said that they did not have a landline to the bahamas. In conclusion: the I aim should have correct fuel information, it's updated weekly. Nassau FSS should certainly have correct fuel NOTAMS, or they should not give out the information. Miami FSS should give special attention to the 'pan, pan, pan' call and they should be more helpful to a pilot in an urgent situation. I cannot think of a single thing I might have done to avoid this situation. Landed mygf with 8 gals in tanks.

Title: PLANNED FUELSTOP HAD NO FUEL AVAILABLE CONTRARY TO FSS ADVICE AND IAIM. SECOND PLANNED FUELSTOP ALSO HAD NO FUEL. NOW ENRTE TO ALTERNATE FUEL REMAINING BECAME CRITICAL. UNABLE TO BREAK INTO MIAMI FSS ACCOUNT BUSY TFC. SUCCESSFULLY LANDED MYGF AND REFUELED.
Narrative: FLT PLANNED FROM STELLA MARIS, LONG ISLAND BAHAMAS (MYLS) TO TREASURE CAY, (MYAT) ABACO BAHAMAS FOR A FUEL STOP, THENCE TO WALKERS CAY, ABACO BAHAMAS (MYAW) AND W PALM BEACH, FL, (KPBI). IMMEDIATELY AFTER TKOF, I FOUND OUT BY RADIO THAT THERE IS NO FUEL ON MYAM SUNDAYS SO I IMMEDIATELY TURNED TOWARDS MYGF (FREEPORT). TSTM RPTED ON FIELD BY OTHER PLT. I HAD ENOUGH FUEL TO FLY TO FREEPORT, AND THEN DIRECT TO DEEP WATER CAY, IF I DIDN'T HAVE TO DEVIATE. I HAD TO FIND OUT THE RADAR OBSERVER ENRTE. I CALLED MIAMI FSS ON THEIR REMOTE FREQ OF 126.9. THEY WERE BUSY GIVING WX BRIEFINGS AND FILING FLT PLANS ON OTHER FREQS. THEY KEPT TELLING ME TO 'STANDBY'. THE SIT WAS GETTING URGENT, BECAUSE ANY DEVS WOULD CUT INTO THE FUEL I NEEDED FOR MY ALTERNATE. I CALLED 'PAN, PAN, PAN' ON 126.9, MIAMI FSS KEPT TELLING ME TO 'STANDBY'. FINALLY, BY INSISTING, I BROKE THROUGH TO THEM. I NEEDED TO KNOW IF 'R-9001' WAS HOT, SO I COULD TAKE A SHORT CUT. THEY WERE UNABLE TO TELL ME, SAID THAT I WOULD HAVE TO CALL FREEPORT FSS (I WAS UNABLE). THEY SAID THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE A LANDLINE TO THE BAHAMAS. IN CONCLUSION: THE I AIM SHOULD HAVE CORRECT FUEL INFO, IT'S UPDATED WEEKLY. NASSAU FSS SHOULD CERTAINLY HAVE CORRECT FUEL NOTAMS, OR THEY SHOULD NOT GIVE OUT THE INFO. MIAMI FSS SHOULD GIVE SPECIAL ATTN TO THE 'PAN, PAN, PAN' CALL AND THEY SHOULD BE MORE HELPFUL TO A PLT IN AN URGENT SIT. I CANNOT THINK OF A SINGLE THING I MIGHT HAVE DONE TO AVOID THIS SIT. LANDED MYGF WITH 8 GALS IN TANKS.
