Narrative:
On takeoff from sjc, and during gear retraction, complete loss of hydraulic pressure and fluid due to a cracked power transfer unit. An emergency landing was made at sfo. I feel that hydraulic fuses should be installed in both left hand and right hand hydraulic system to prevent this situation from recurring.
