Narrative:
Aircraft apparently departed with aft jumpseat microphone having been knocked out of aircraft during catering. Microphone was discovered banging against fuselage after takeoff. Captain was notified and aircraft was checked by first officer after return to landing. No damage was caused to outer fuselage. Captain then took flight on to denver.

Title: ACR MLG RETURN LAND AFTER CABIN ATTENDANT RPTS GALLEY MIC HANGING OUTSIDE OF ACFT ON TKOF.
Narrative: ACFT APPARENTLY DEPARTED WITH AFT JUMPSEAT MICROPHONE HAVING BEEN KNOCKED OUT OF ACFT DURING CATERING. MICROPHONE WAS DISCOVERED BANGING AGAINST FUSELAGE AFTER TKOF. CAPT WAS NOTIFIED AND ACFT WAS CHKED BY FO AFTER RETURN TO LNDG. NO DAMAGE WAS CAUSED TO OUTER FUSELAGE. CAPT THEN TOOK FLT ON TO DENVER.
