Stuck microphone on tower frequency was causing garbled xmissions. First officer read back taxi into position and hold. Controller told us to hold short after we had crossed the hold line, causing aircraft on approximately 3 mi final to go around.

Narrative: STUCK MIKE ON TWR FREQ WAS CAUSING GARBLED XMISSIONS. FO READ BACK TAXI INTO POS AND HOLD. CTLR TOLD US TO HOLD SHORT AFTER WE HAD CROSSED THE HOLD LINE, CAUSING ACFT ON APPROX 3 MI FINAL TO GO AROUND.
