Narrative:

Received clearance from clearance delivery. Received SID departure then as filed. Set up radios for first fix. Radial off cvg VOR to ape transition. Called ground received taxi instructions to 18L. Reached runway 18L, monitored tower for hold short 1 or 2 arrs. Received 'position and hold runway 18L' from tower. Taxied onto runway completing takeoff checklist. In middle of checklist, tower cleared us for takeoff then gives us a fast lengthy 'after departure' climb instructions for noise abatement. I started to advance power but stopped because I was surprised at the instructions and didn't understand, controller spoke fast. I asked the captain to get climb instructions again. He said let's go I will get them in a min. On takeoff captain again asked for 'say again departure'. We got another fast reply, didn't understand it either. Over to departure. I got heading 150 degree out of it somehow and turned to that heading.
