Narrative:
Began 24/25 profile to lax, turn on for a visual to 24L. We were unable to see the airport. I called the tower and requested a turn on course. Tower advised a go around, right turn 360, 3000 ft. We went to approach and they turned us downwind. We got a TCAS alert and found an large transport 600 ft above and descending. Called ATC and they advised that we should be at 2500 ft. So we descended. Then we were turned on for another approach 24R.
