Narrative:
Aircraft was an small aircraft. The flight was a 135 charter to deer lodge and warm springs, mt. That morning I called for a WX briefing. No NOTAMS reference airport closed were given for anaconda. Runway 16/34 was closed only, not 4/22. Construction was in progress on the new runway 16/34. With 2 patients and a guard to drop, I entered the left downwind for runway 4. The runway 4/22 had no yellow 'X' at either end - - 16/34 did. Flew over top of the crews. The runway 4 was clear. On final and upon touchdown roll a steam roller or packer began pulling out resulting in a near miss. After shutdown a man with the construction informed me that airport was closed. The FAA was informed of my landing. They allowed me and the guard to takeoff. Reasons for incident: 1) no clear airport markings in place. 2) lack of communication or transfer of NOTAMS - FSS.
