Narrative:
I taxi my small aircraft aircraft onto runway behind landing XXX with a landing YYY airliner reported on downwind segment. While I hold my position on the runway, XXX back taxis to clear runway, and YYY reports 'base leg'. Xx 'fast taxis' back on west side of the runway as I start taxiing up east side, YYY reports turning 'final'. XXX reports 'clear of runway' as I apply takeoff power. We pass each other at north taxiway, wheels on the ground, by about 100 ft. YYY must be on a very 'short' final by now. I completed my flight without further incident and the other 2 aircraft apparently did as well. Contributing factors: the YYY crew apparently misjudged the time requirement for the XXX to clear the runway. I misjudged the type of traffic pattern YYY crew was flying. There is no parallel taxiway for the runway.

Title: PLT OF SMA TAKES RWY AT SINGLE ARPT OP UNCTLED ARPT AFTER ACFT LANDS WHO HAS TO BACK TAXI TO CLR THE RWY. AIRLINER ON FINAL, PLT OF SMA STARTS TAXI TKOF PASSING ACFT ON RWY OPPOSITE DIRECTION THEN TAKES OFF BARELY AHEAD OF AIRLINER ON VERY SHORT FINAL LNDG.
Narrative: I TAXI MY SMA ACFT ONTO RWY BEHIND LNDG XXX WITH A LNDG YYY AIRLINER RPTED ON DOWNWIND SEGMENT. WHILE I HOLD MY POS ON THE RWY, XXX BACK TAXIS TO CLR RWY, AND YYY RPTS 'BASE LEG'. XX 'FAST TAXIS' BACK ON W SIDE OF THE RWY AS I START TAXIING UP E SIDE, YYY RPTS TURNING 'FINAL'. XXX RPTS 'CLR OF RWY' AS I APPLY TKOF PWR. WE PASS EACH OTHER AT N TAXIWAY, WHEELS ON THE GND, BY ABOUT 100 FT. YYY MUST BE ON A VERY 'SHORT' FINAL BY NOW. I COMPLETED MY FLT WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT AND THE OTHER 2 ACFT APPARENTLY DID AS WELL. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: THE YYY CREW APPARENTLY MISJUDGED THE TIME REQUIREMENT FOR THE XXX TO CLR THE RWY. I MISJUDGED THE TYPE OF TFC PATTERN YYY CREW WAS FLYING. THERE IS NO PARALLEL TAXIWAY FOR THE RWY.
