Narrative:
The airplane was in the landing pattern at the keokuk airport. On the downwind leg I put the gear lever into the down position and extended 15 degrees of flap. I saw 3 green lights indicating the gear was fully extended. Upon entering the base leg I again checked the gear indicator and saw 3 green lights. On the final approach I usually check the mirror which is attached to the left engine nacelle. This mirror will reflect the nose wheel when it is in the down position. On his occasion, however, I do not recall if I checked the mirror. The final approach and flair were normal. I made contact on the centerline of the runway. At this point the gear collapsed and the plane skidded to a stop. There were no injuries. The plane came to rest supported by the gear doors and the collapsed wheels. There was no damage to the body or the wings of the aircraft.

Title: PLT OF SMA TWIN HAD GEAR COLLAPSE AFTER TOUCHDOWN AND DURING ROLLOUT.
Narrative: THE AIRPLANE WAS IN THE LNDG PATTERN AT THE KEOKUK ARPT. ON THE DOWNWIND LEG I PUT THE GEAR LEVER INTO THE DOWN POS AND EXTENDED 15 DEGS OF FLAP. I SAW 3 GREEN LIGHTS INDICATING THE GEAR WAS FULLY EXTENDED. UPON ENTERING THE BASE LEG I AGAIN CHKED THE GEAR INDICATOR AND SAW 3 GREEN LIGHTS. ON THE FINAL APCH I USUALLY CHK THE MIRROR WHICH IS ATTACHED TO THE L ENG NACELLE. THIS MIRROR WILL REFLECT THE NOSE WHEEL WHEN IT IS IN THE DOWN POS. ON HIS OCCASION, HOWEVER, I DO NOT RECALL IF I CHKED THE MIRROR. THE FINAL APCH AND FLAIR WERE NORMAL. I MADE CONTACT ON THE CENTERLINE OF THE RWY. AT THIS POINT THE GEAR COLLAPSED AND THE PLANE SKIDDED TO A STOP. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE PLANE CAME TO REST SUPPORTED BY THE GEAR DOORS AND THE COLLAPSED WHEELS. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE BODY OR THE WINGS OF THE ACFT.
