Narrative:

While taxiing to gate at phl, I veered aircraft to the right off yellow guide line and away from fuel truck in process of refueling aircraft at gate and parked inside white line. Due to ramp construction and construction vehicles, it was necessary to steer back to yellow guide line. At that time the left outboard wingtip scraped the fuel truck on gate. At no time did I taxi the aircraft to the left of yellow guide line. Yellow guide line and white line around gate do not provide adequate wingtip clearance for medium large transport lines should be repainted or use of gate be discontinued.
