Narrative:
We left mission base (apple valley) after being released from mission base, we flew to baker, ca, landed. Check for missing aircraft. Took off (tried to contact la center 128.15 edwards approach 124.44 and 127.50 and FSS 122.40 with no reply). Flew into search grid, established northeast corner, started to fly to northwest corner, saw military activity on ground and vacated area to the east. I called ft irwin the next day and the air operations officer's assistant said they didn't know of any penetration in R2502N or any other restr airspace penetration. He also told me to contact bicycle lake aaf on 126.20 or call ft irwin at least 1 hour before takeoff next time we have a search in that area. I believe we were too low for transmission to the frequencys noted on the la sectional chart.
