Narrative:
WX was low and was receiving vectors for approach into dtw. End of highspd trip, controller had given very tight turn onto approach from a heading of 110 degree to 030 degree to intercept final at 4 mi inbound course was 035 degree. Required steep turn 40 degree bank and hard descent 2000 FPM to capture ILS course. Was not comfortable with approach. Went very early with missed approach. Was questioned about missed approach by tower at dtw.

Title: POOR VECTOR CAUSES UNSTABILIZED APCH AND MISSED APCH.
Narrative: WX WAS LOW AND WAS RECEIVING VECTORS FOR APCH INTO DTW. END OF HIGHSPD TRIP, CTLR HAD GIVEN VERY TIGHT TURN ONTO APCH FROM A HDG OF 110 DEG TO 030 DEG TO INTERCEPT FINAL AT 4 MI INBOUND COURSE WAS 035 DEG.
