Narrative:
After landing runway 8 ground cleared us to taxiway to FBO south. While taxiing on delta, we missed bravo intersection. Upon realizing this error, I take the control, stopped aircraft just beyond the edge line for intersection (delta/bravo). My student was preoccupied with an error that was made while on approach to 8 and failed to see the intersection for delta and bravo taxiways. I saw the bravo taxiway edge line and applied brake and made a right 270 to reenter taxiway bravo to FBO south complex. Delta taxiway hold lines are very close to intersection bravo. Intersection is dimly lit. Correction to taxiway lighting and intersection confign would improve night operations. Warning stripe in proximity of runway hold lines on taxiway delta 'AFD' noting close proximity of hold lines on taxiway to intersection bravo or list distance to expect taxiway hold from intersection bravo on airport diagram will reduce stress between a pilot and controller.

Title: INSTRUCTOR WITH STUDENT MISSES TAXIWAY INTXN AND TAXIES ONTO HOLD LINE BUT SHORT OF RWY.
Narrative: AFTER LNDG RWY 8 GND CLRED US TO TAXIWAY TO FBO S. WHILE TAXIING ON DELTA, WE MISSED BRAVO INTXN. UPON REALIZING THIS ERROR, I TAKE THE CTL, STOPPED ACFT JUST BEYOND THE EDGE LINE FOR INTXN (DELTA/BRAVO). MY STUDENT WAS PREOCCUPIED WITH AN ERROR THAT WAS MADE WHILE ON APCH TO 8 AND FAILED TO SEE THE INTXN FOR DELTA AND BRAVO TAXIWAYS. I SAW THE BRAVO TAXIWAY EDGE LINE AND APPLIED BRAKE AND MADE A R 270 TO REENTER TAXIWAY BRAVO TO FBO S COMPLEX. DELTA TAXIWAY HOLD LINES ARE VERY CLOSE TO INTXN BRAVO. INTXN IS DIMLY LIT. CORRECTION TO TAXIWAY LIGHTING AND INTXN CONFIGN WOULD IMPROVE NIGHT OPS. WARNING STRIPE IN PROX OF RWY HOLD LINES ON TAXIWAY DELTA 'AFD' NOTING CLOSE PROX OF HOLD LINES ON TAXIWAY TO INTXN BRAVO OR LIST DISTANCE TO EXPECT TAXIWAY HOLD FROM INTXN BRAVO ON ARPT DIAGRAM WILL REDUCE STRESS BTWN A PLT AND CTLR.
