Narrative:
On oct/sun/91 I was on a VFR cross country flight from millville to N81 to N44. I planned to use VOR and it was my first flight using instruments, I planned to use coyle VOR for course guidance and I had confused the coyle VOR frequency of 113.4 with mcguire frequency of 110.6 around the area of chatsworth. I couldn't identify the morse code correctly and in this moment I thought that I was in a correct way, after 5 mins or less I changed my heading to the east because I knew that something wrong had happened. I saw 1 airport and I thought that was N44 and I spoke with them about my situation and intentions, 10 mi out, 5 mi, and 1 mi out. I requested for runway in use and they answered me runway 06. It's a big coincidence because the 2 airports have the same numbers in the runways and they are very close. I heard on the radio that some helicopter was doing patterns and I saw the aircraft but when I was over the field I saw 2 runways and entrench airport without people and airplanes and 2 big hangars. I tried to land to think and look over my chart and papers but in this moment I was very confused and 2 cars came toward me and I had a bad reaction and took off for departure. Near the airport, when I was in downwind parallel to runway 06 was 1 military helicopter flying beside me on my left side. I thought that they wanted to say to me that I was in a military zone and I had to go out and leave the area. I'm very worried about this and serious I'm sorry. I hope that you understand my problem and please that it doesn't become bigger.
