Narrative:
While flying a video crew filming a documentary of a large industrial complex, I was told to circle some large structures at a certain complex at a very low altitude. I made 3 circuits around this structure and was then told they had enough footage. We proceeded away from the area when I noticed several people on the ground below us were waving us away. When I remarked about the people on the ground, the film crew then told me they had not received permission to fly over that 1 particular complex. Prior to the flight I had been told all clrncs were in order for the filming and low flying. Next time I'll know not to believe everything these people say and will get the necessary permission myself.
