Narrative:

Experienced near fuel exhaustion on a flight from one satellite airport to another satellite airport (ete 20 mins). On departure from an unattended airport we estimated 1 hour 5 mins fuel on board, however, it was distributed in 2 tanks. Approximately 5 gals each tank (we thought). 10 mins into the flight the left tank ran dry. Switching to the right tank, the big surprise came 3 mins later when the fuel pressure began to drop! A power off visual approach was made to an unscheduled landing and we were able to taxi to the ramp, deplane and visually inspect the 2 dry tanks.
