Narrative:

Departed huntsville, set altimeter to field elevation, entering hou TCA directed to maintain 5500. Traffic pointed out at 12 O'clock, 5000, a heavy transport, opposite bound. Heavy transport was at 5100 and I had descended to 5300 because failed to change to houston altimeter setting. Mode C readout 5300, the altimeter in the plane read 5500. The heavy transport said his TCASII said 200 ft difference between us. What should have been done by me is change barometric setting, and doublechked altimeter, especially when traffic is pointed out.
