Narrative:
Line check conducted with FAA inspector on board for 4 legs. New company check airman seemed to want to impress FAA and criticized first 4 legs without basis and with malice. On the 5TH leg, check airman said all phases of that leg were fine. FAA was not on the last leg. Now I find that the 2 have condemned the first 4 legs of the trip. No high time, experienced captain (30 yrs +) should be a sacrificial lamb to a newly hired company check airman who is actually from a prior carrier having 'retired' before that carrier shut down. Stylistic differences do not equal unsafe flying. The combination of crusty old birds at a new employer has begun to create cockpit problems with a loss of crew coordination and management of cockpit resources. This is a human factors problem that is just emerging.
