Narrative:
Jax center cleared us for an ILS 4 approach at aby and switched us to the tower when we joined the localizer. Aby tower cleared us to land approximately 3 mi from FAF, approximately 1 mi inside FAF the tower told us there was VFR traffic 1-2 O'clock and 1 1/2 mi at 600 ft reported by jax center to him. We told the tower that we were IMC, approximately 1 more mi we were VMC and advised the tower that we were and we would look for the traffic. We then spotted the traffic and he was about 12:30, 1/2 mi and approximately 300 ft below us in a steep left turn. The pilot of the small aircraft then said he would 'fall in behind us.' I then told the tower that, 'that was a little too close for comfort for us.' the tower then told us that he was VFR inbound. After talking to the tower chief on the ground he told me that the small aircraft had missed a reporting point to the tower and the tower wasn't real sure where he was when he gave us the advisory given to him by jax center.

Title: CLOSE PROX COMMUTER LTT ON IAP ILS APCH TO ABY AND A GA SMA VFR UNDER THE CLOUD CEILING.
Narrative: JAX CENTER CLRED US FOR AN ILS 4 APCH AT ABY AND SWITCHED US TO THE TWR WHEN WE JOINED THE LOC. ABY TWR CLRED US TO LAND APPROX 3 MI FROM FAF, APPROX 1 MI INSIDE FAF THE TWR TOLD US THERE WAS VFR TFC 1-2 O'CLOCK AND 1 1/2 MI AT 600 FT RPTED BY JAX CENTER TO HIM. WE TOLD THE TWR THAT WE WERE IMC, APPROX 1 MORE MI WE WERE VMC AND ADVISED THE TWR THAT WE WERE AND WE WOULD LOOK FOR THE TFC. WE THEN SPOTTED THE TFC AND HE WAS ABOUT 12:30, 1/2 MI AND APPROX 300 FT BELOW US IN A STEEP L TURN. THE PLT OF THE SMA THEN SAID HE WOULD 'FALL IN BEHIND US.' I THEN TOLD THE TWR THAT, 'THAT WAS A LITTLE TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT FOR US.' THE TWR THEN TOLD US THAT HE WAS VFR INBOUND. AFTER TALKING TO THE TWR CHIEF ON THE GND HE TOLD ME THAT THE SMA HAD MISSED A RPTING POINT TO THE TWR AND THE TWR WASN'T REAL SURE WHERE HE WAS WHEN HE GAVE US THE ADVISORY GIVEN TO HIM BY JAX CENTER.
