Narrative:
Control was by pbi approach control. Assigned altitude of 5000 ft. Approach called out traffic at approximately 1-2 O'clock at 7 NM at 4500 ft. Received a TCASII RA command when traffic was at 1-2 O'clock and 4700 ft. Uncertain of exact distance, but approximately 3-4 NM. Followed TCASII command and climbed to 5500 ft. TCASII command was effective in avoiding collision.

Title: FLC OF LGT FOLLOWED TCASII RA BY CLBING UNTIL RA WAS CLRED.
Narrative: CTL WAS BY PBI APCH CTL. ASSIGNED ALT OF 5000 FT. APCH CALLED OUT TFC AT APPROX 1-2 O'CLOCK AT 7 NM AT 4500 FT. RECEIVED A TCASII RA COMMAND WHEN TFC WAS AT 1-2 O'CLOCK AND 4700 FT. UNCERTAIN OF EXACT DISTANCE, BUT APPROX 3-4 NM. FOLLOWED TCASII COMMAND AND CLBED TO 5500 FT. TCASII COMMAND WAS EFFECTIVE IN AVOIDING COLLISION.
