Narrative:
While on final to landing in lubbock, tx, the aircraft encountered several large birds. It was at night and the birds could not be seen and not avoided. Damage resulted to aircraft. The aircraft was configured and landing in lubbock was uneventful.

Title: ACR MLG BIRD STRIKE DURING NIGHT APCH TO LBB.
Narrative: WHILE ON FINAL TO LNDG IN LUBBOCK, TX, THE ACFT ENCOUNTERED SEVERAL LARGE BIRDS. IT WAS AT NIGHT AND THE BIRDS COULD NOT BE SEEN AND NOT AVOIDED. DAMAGE RESULTED TO ACFT. THE ACFT WAS CONFIGURED AND LNDG IN LUBBOCK WAS UNEVENTFUL.
