Narrative:

Right wing, leading edge, tip struck an unlighted guy-wire attached to telephone pole while taxiing to fuel after landing. The engine was immediately turned off and FBO notified. A left 90 degree turn is required for this taxi operation. An small aircraft was parked near the center point of the radius of this turn. A wide turn was made to avoid hitting this aircraft, thus striking the wire.

Title: PLT OF SMA TAXIING TO REFUELING AREA HIT UNLIT GUY WIRE TO TELEPHONE POLE WITH WING TIP.

Narrative: R WING, LEADING EDGE, TIP STRUCK AN UNLIGHTED GUY-WIRE ATTACHED TO TELEPHONE POLE WHILE TAXIING TO FUEL AFTER LNDG. THE ENG WAS IMMEDIATELY TURNED OFF AND FBO NOTIFIED. A L 90 DEG TURN IS REQUIRED FOR THIS TAXI OP. AN SMA WAS PARKED NEAR THE CENTER POINT OF THE RADIUS OF THIS TURN. A WIDE TURN WAS MADE TO AVOID HITTING THIS ACFT, THUS STRIKING THE WIRE.
