Narrative:
The superintendent of dispatch advised me that on approach to lbb aircraft hit a flock of birds. The superintendent also advised me maintenance had been called. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information. Reporter states the captain called his superintendent directly instead of contacting dispatcher. That is part of the reason he reported. Additionally FAA is involved because of engine damage and much skin damage. Birds were geese.
