Narrative:
During a normal aerobatic training flight after completing a 180 degree clearing turn I thought I saw something over my right shoulder. I looked around and did not see anything. I briefed my student on how to do a departure stall and after slowing down to departure speed we added power and started to pull up. We started at 4000 ft and as we passed through 4300 I spotted a twin engine plane coming over my left shoulder approximately 300 ft higher. I pulled the power and lowered the nose and watched the plane continue on.
