Narrative:

The captain (PF) was landing to the west, due to excessive boat traffic. He decided to extend touchdown in the government cut, towards the end. We landed without incident, as we came off the 'step' (about 30 KTS). We encountered a wake unseen before and we traversed it. We began porpoising (we then used reverse pitch). At the end of the second porpoise, we had completed the landing and were taxiing to the ramp. Upon post-flight examination we noticed damage to nose wheel gear door and horizontal stabilizer and elevator. The captain searched the landing area (government cut) for a suitable location and found the west end to be best. The waves we encountered were unseen by us at the outset of the landing phase. No one was injured or complained.
