Narrative:
Battery acid for aircraft batteries sold by XXX battery company is now being packaged in containers which are identical to the containers aviation oil (and automotive oil too) is supplied in. The containers are marked in very small print with the words þsulfuric acidþ. I have reported this problem to my local FSDO (#15 in orlando, fl) who have advised FAA southern region. I have talked with the director of marketing to express my concern that unless the packages are marked more clearly with the word þacidþ, someone is going to pour battery acid into an aircraft engine. Thought it should be reported to you.
