Narrative:
Cleared on to hold runway 29R at msp by tower controller. Captain queried tower controller about takeoff clearance. Tower controller responded with 'oh XXXX' while the following events occurred simultaneously: mdt over flew us and initiated a go around. Tower controller directed mdt to go around. Shortly thereafter, we were cleared for takeoff. We estimated mdt missed us by 100 ft or less. During this event, tower controller had given permission for aircraft low approach on 29L.

Narrative: CLRED ON TO HOLD RWY 29R AT MSP BY TWR CTLR. CAPT QUERIED TWR CTLR ABOUT TKOF CLRNC. TWR CTLR RESPONDED WITH 'OH XXXX' WHILE THE FOLLOWING EVENTS OCCURRED SIMULTANEOUSLY: MDT OVER FLEW US AND INITIATED A GAR. TWR CTLR DIRECTED MDT TO GAR. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, WE WERE CLRED FOR TKOF.
