Narrative:
'Flight a' released with MEL 28-04 (left fwd boost pump) and MEL 28-11 (#2 fuel quantity inoperative). The dispatcher releasing the next flight (B) following flight a felt that the 2 above mels were conflicting and had the airplane return to gate in denver and took over an hour delay. After much research by all dispatchers involved in handling this aircraft it was decided that the mels were not conflicting and that the dispatcher on flight B was in error. To correct the situation I should have listed the limitation (maximum- landing weight climb limit) in the 'subject to the following conditions' on the release. The problem was caused by the people not reading the MEL closely enough.
