Narrative:
I flew an approach to det when the WX was below mins. The WX was good at takeoff and was lowering en route. While being vectored for final, ATC said visibility was 1/2 mi. I thought the min was 1/2 mi. The min was 1 mi. At DH the runway was not in sight, went missed, and to another airport. Single pilot, IFR, multi-engine is a lot of work in the terminal environment. Keep the mind ahead of the plane.
