Narrative:
Approximately 60 DME north of cuu VOR, oil quantity slowly went to O. Followed company procedures in abnormal section. 10 min later oil pressure went to '0' psi. Secured engine as per fcom. Advised monterey center and started drift down. Landed elp without incident. Flight was from mexico to san in cruise north of durango mexico, we noticed oil quantity gauge on left side acting erratically. As a precaution changed destination to elp. This routing put us closer to suitable airports in case the oil quantity gauge was in fact working properly.
