Narrative:
Company refiled flight plan and failed to notify ATC of the change. We had already received our clearance per the original route. When we were overhead orf we requested direct ecg where upon we were notified that we weren't filed over ecg. ATC then refiled our route as requested and reported no conflict on their part. Rest of flight was routine.

Narrative: COMPANY REFILED FLT PLAN AND FAILED TO NOTIFY ATC OF THE CHANGE. WE HAD ALREADY RECEIVED OUR CLRNC PER THE ORIGINAL RTE. WHEN WE WERE OVERHEAD ORF WE REQUESTED DIRECT ECG WHERE UPON WE WERE NOTIFIED THAT WE WEREN'T FILED OVER ECG. ATC THEN REFILED OUR RTE AS REQUESTED AND RPTED NO CONFLICT ON THEIR PART. REST OF FLT WAS ROUTINE.
