Narrative:
While on the boids arrival at dfw level at 11000 ft approach control advised traffic 11 O'clock 10 mi will level at 10000. Received a TCASII RA of 2000 FPM. I began to initiate a climb but the captain told me to disregard the TCASII command. The aircraft causing the RA did level at 1000 and no conflict resulted.

Title: ALTDEV ALT EXCURSION CLBING DSNDING TFC.
Narrative: WHILE ON THE BOIDS ARR AT DFW LEVEL AT 11000 FT APCH CTL ADVISED TFC 11 O'CLOCK 10 MI WILL LEVEL AT 10000. RECEIVED A TCASII RA OF 2000 FPM. I BEGAN TO INITIATE A CLB BUT THE CAPT TOLD ME TO DISREGARD THE TCASII COMMAND. THE ACFT CAUSING THE RA DID LEVEL AT 1000 AND NO CONFLICT RESULTED.
