Narrative:
Hidden thunderstorm, hidden behind mountain, 5000 overcast made tops unseen also. In air traffic area it was getting really turbulent. Small aircraft X was cleared to land. Aircraft Y in front of me was still on runway when I landed. I did not declare emergency, but would have had I been given go around instructions. Thunderstorm was violent, visibility was rapidly deteriorating and there was no 'out' for alternate field at that time. Instead of trying to beat thunderstorm to airport, I should have 180'ed before air traffic area searched for clear airport. Poor judgement on my part even though thunderstorm surprised me, I had 'get homeitis'. Most terrifying 5 mins of flying ever.

Title: SMA X LANDED ON OCCUPIED RWY DUE TO TURB TSTM IN ATA.
Narrative: HIDDEN TSTM, HIDDEN BEHIND MOUNTAIN, 5000 OVCST MADE TOPS UNSEEN ALSO. IN ATA IT WAS GETTING REALLY TURBULENT. SMA X WAS CLRED TO LAND. ACFT Y IN FRONT OF ME WAS STILL ON RWY WHEN I LANDED. I DID NOT DECLARE EMER, BUT WOULD HAVE HAD I BEEN GIVEN GAR INSTRUCTIONS. INSTEAD OF TRYING TO BEAT TSTM TO ARPT, I SHOULD HAVE 180'ED BEFORE ATA SEARCHED FOR CLR ARPT. POOR JUDGEMENT ON MY PART EVEN THOUGH TSTM SURPRISED ME, I HAD 'GET HOMEITIS'.
