Narrative:
Ground controller told us to hold short of runway 9. Acknowledged. Ground controller cleared us to cross runway 9-27. Acknowledged. As we passed hold short, ground asked if we were holding short of 9-27. We informed ground we were cleared to cross. We attempted to stop. Then he cleared us to cross. Approaching aircraft to runway 27 had to go around.
