Narrative:
Mdt departing sjc on loupe 8 SID. At about 7000 ft MSL turning right through 240 degree towards sjc VOR, TCASII said 'reduce climb.' traffic was on TCASII screen 300 ft above at 9 O'clock. TCASII immediately followed with 'descend' and showed a 200 FPM requirement. (We had been climbing at 3000 FPM.) we descended about 300 ft. We never saw traffic. We missed requirement to cross sjc at 12000 FPM. Advised ATC. No further events.

Title: ACR MDT ON SID HAD A TCASII ALERT THAT COMMANDED A DSCNT. THE DSCNT CAUSED THE MDT TO MISS ITS XING ALT AT SJC VOR. THE OTHER ACFT WAS NOT SEEN VISUALLY AND THE RPTR DID NOT STATE IF ATC HAD CALLED OUT THE TFC.
