Narrative:
We were cleared for takeoff on runway 22 (full length) at msp. An air carrier turbojet was cleared to land on runway 29L to hold short of runway 22. At about 80 to 90 KTS, I saw this aircraft roll across runway 22. About 1 second later, the tower ordered us to abort the takeoff the abort was initiated at 100 KTS. Runway turnoff was made at circuit breaker. If we had been cleared for takeoff 30 seconds earlier, this could have been very close or worse. This type of operation should not be allowed.
