Narrative:
Flight en route msp to bos. FL310. #2 engine has slight rumble and then flame out. Attempted relight at FL310. Descended to FL270. 2 relights attempted. Flight checked WX at area stations. Area was saturated with thunderstorms. FL270 was the basic tops of most thunderstorms. After checking WX (example, syracuse was 1 mi visibility and rain), the decision was made to proceed to bos for landing as the best area WX was there. The rest of flight was uneventful.

Narrative: FLT ENRTE MSP TO BOS. FL310. #2 ENG HAS SLIGHT RUMBLE AND THEN FLAME OUT. ATTEMPTED RELIGHT AT FL310. DSNDED TO FL270. 2 RELIGHTS ATTEMPTED. FLT CHKED WX AT AREA STATIONS. AREA WAS SATURATED WITH TSTMS. FL270 WAS THE BASIC TOPS OF MOST TSTMS. AFTER CHKING WX (EXAMPLE, SYRACUSE WAS 1 MI VISIBILITY AND RAIN), THE DECISION WAS MADE TO PROCEED TO BOS FOR LNDG AS THE BEST AREA WX WAS THERE. THE REST OF FLT WAS UNEVENTFUL.
