Narrative:
We taxied out of the cargo ramp at stapleton on L-6 taxiway, headed east, near dawn (shorter after). It is a very bright day. We were cleared to 'taxi to runway 35R, hold short of 35L.' it is my leg (I'm the first officer) and I am briefing. The aircraft is very light and we are on our 3RD leg 3 1/2 hours into our crew day. (Ie, we have been up all night -- showtime was xyoo CDT). We are going fairly fast and I saw that we were not going to stop at the hold line, so I yelled for the captain to stop. He stopped immediately, and almost simultaneously the ground controller also was asking us to stop. We went past the hold line by 10- 15 ft (our nose was past -- we actually were straddling the line). Another aircraft, an medium large transport, was on takeoff roll and was airborne and above us by 200 ft and missed us laterally by 150 ft. The causes probably were fatigue, distraction by my briefing, and crossing the runway at about 5000 ft from end means that there are no white markings (other than centerline) to aid in identing the runway. Short taxi route which leads to accomplishing many items prior to takeoff. There is very little to distinguish taxiway left from runway 35L when you are 'at the top of the hill' on taxiway L-6. Recommendations: mark runways with louder colors, ie, red, to indicate you are approaching a possible active runway. This 3-DAY sequence, my duty time (local) was XA30-XB00 (1ST day), XC00-XD00 (2ND day) and after 26 hours off, XE30-XF30 (3RD day). This gives 3 different times to rest in 3 days.

Title: ACR LGT FRT HAULER CROSSES OVER HOLD LINE OF RWY IN RWY INCURSION WITH ACFT ON TKOF ROLL. POTENTIAL CONFLICT.
Narrative: WE TAXIED OUT OF THE CARGO RAMP AT STAPLETON ON L-6 TAXIWAY, HEADED E, NEAR DAWN (SHORTER AFTER). IT IS A VERY BRIGHT DAY. WE WERE CLRED TO 'TAXI TO RWY 35R, HOLD SHORT OF 35L.' IT IS MY LEG (I'M THE FO) AND I AM BRIEFING. THE ACFT IS VERY LIGHT AND WE ARE ON OUR 3RD LEG 3 1/2 HRS INTO OUR CREW DAY. (IE, WE HAVE BEEN UP ALL NIGHT -- SHOWTIME WAS XYOO CDT). WE ARE GOING FAIRLY FAST AND I SAW THAT WE WERE NOT GOING TO STOP AT THE HOLD LINE, SO I YELLED FOR THE CAPT TO STOP. HE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY, AND ALMOST SIMULTANEOUSLY THE GND CTLR ALSO WAS ASKING US TO STOP. WE WENT PAST THE HOLD LINE BY 10- 15 FT (OUR NOSE WAS PAST -- WE ACTUALLY WERE STRADDLING THE LINE). ANOTHER ACFT, AN MLG, WAS ON TKOF ROLL AND WAS AIRBORNE AND ABOVE US BY 200 FT AND MISSED US LATERALLY BY 150 FT. THE CAUSES PROBABLY WERE FATIGUE, DISTR BY MY BRIEFING, AND XING THE RWY AT ABOUT 5000 FT FROM END MEANS THAT THERE ARE NO WHITE MARKINGS (OTHER THAN CTRLINE) TO AID IN IDENTING THE RWY. SHORT TAXI RTE WHICH LEADS TO ACCOMPLISHING MANY ITEMS PRIOR TO TKOF. THERE IS VERY LITTLE TO DISTINGUISH TAXIWAY L FROM RWY 35L WHEN YOU ARE 'AT THE TOP OF THE HILL' ON TAXIWAY L-6. RECOMMENDATIONS: MARK RWYS WITH LOUDER COLORS, IE, RED, TO INDICATE YOU ARE APCHING A POSSIBLE ACTIVE RWY. THIS 3-DAY SEQUENCE, MY DUTY TIME (LCL) WAS XA30-XB00 (1ST DAY), XC00-XD00 (2ND DAY) AND AFTER 26 HRS OFF, XE30-XF30 (3RD DAY). THIS GIVES 3 DIFFERENT TIMES TO REST IN 3 DAYS.
