Narrative:

Departing sea on runway 34L, we were assigned the sea mountain 2 departure, page 20-3A, dated 3/92. I was flying the aircraft and made my right turn to a heading of 070 degrees at 6 DME, as depicted on my chart. At this time my first officer questioned my early right turn and I again verified 6 DME as the turn point on my chart. Later, after comparing departure charts, it was discovered that my chart, which reads 6 DME, was a company misprint. Better quality control on the part of company.
