Narrative:

While taxiing back from a series of touch-and-goes, right wing of aircraft struck a parked truck that was encroaching on the taxiway. Contributing factors: 1) truck was way too close to taxiways. After incident, we had to put 1 wheel off of taxiway to clear it. 2) pilot distraction: instructor was giving flight instruction while I was taxiing in a congested area. I feel that this incident could have been avoided. 1) instructor should not have been distracting the student (me) while taxiing in a congested area. I was unfamiliar with the aircraft and the airport (I was being checked out for both). 2) the truck should not have been parked where it was.
