Narrative:
While performing an aerobatic demonstration (under waiver) 1 maneuver directed the aircraft directly toward the spectators. Parallel-to-crowd was achieved by a left turn 90 degrees. Denver FSDO representative informed me this required a preauthorized letter from FAA. A letter requesting authorization has been sent to FAA in washington, dc. Until authorization is received, the maneuver will be removed from the demonstration.
