Narrative:
Aircraft dropped onto runway before time to flare. Possible down burst. Power was applied to stay airborne, however aircraft impacted before leveling off. Not much to be done in this case, except as always hand on the throttle and eyes on the runway.

Title: SMA PLT HAS HARD LNDG DUE POSSIBLE DOWN BURST.
Narrative: ACFT DROPPED ONTO RWY BEFORE TIME TO FLARE. POSSIBLE DOWN BURST. PWR WAS APPLIED TO STAY AIRBORNE, HOWEVER ACFT IMPACTED BEFORE LEVELING OFF. NOT MUCH TO BE DONE IN THIS CASE, EXCEPT AS ALWAYS HAND ON THE THROTTLE AND EYES ON THE RWY.
