Narrative:
I departed the gate at AM05 for a flight to congotown, bahamas. I was issued instructions to taxi to runway 27L and was sequenced to follow an air carrier medium large transport. After switching to tower, I was advised to taxi around air carrier and into position on 27L. As I taxied onto the runway and was turning to line up, the airplane shuddered and stopped. The aircraft would not move. I informed tower that we were stuck and would require assistance. I also informed company. An aircraft behind us informed me that the left main wheel was twisted 90 degrees. I then shut down the engines and waited for assistance. Upon inspecting the gear, it appeared the scissors bolt had fallen out and the scissors released. I found the bolt, washers, nut, and bushing near the aircraft (I could not find the cotter pin for the bolt!). Maintenance arrived, got the gear re-connected and we taxied back to the hangar. Damage was limited to the brake disk and the runway was only closed for about 45 mins.
